2010 Celebration of Excellence Graduation Included a Celebrity salute to Foster Youth Graduates from Grammy Award Winning Artist NeYo.

The Celebration of Excellence Partners  honored the academic achievements of Georgia foster youth at the 18th annual graduation ceremony on June 9, 2010 at the Georgia State Rialto Center for the Arts.

The nsoro Foundation provided college bound youth with scholarships to cover their college tuition. All attendees received the traditional Gift for a Grad bag from Gift for a Child to help . The bag is filled with financial and motivational support to help youth prepare for life after foster care.

Foster youth almuna Adrian Hawkins and Mason McFall served as the emcees, and the keynote speaker was foster youth alumna, author and actress Victoria Rowell. More than 700 attendees including graduates with their families and friends as well as community supporters enjoyed the event.

Grammy award winning artist NeYo was on hand to honor the youth as well as television personality and foster youth alumna Victoria Rowell. Former Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue and his wife Mary kicked off the event with a keynote speech for graduates.
